In keeping with the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, proceeds from the Light The Night Walk go towards curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma -- and improving the lives of patients and their families.
Funds raised through the walk will:
- Enable leading researchers to investigate causes, treatments and cures.
- Support government advocacy efforts to ensure attention to cancer-related issues.
- Create and support assistance programs for patients and their families.
- Help to educate healthcare professionals on the latest medical advances.
- Provide information to the general public on leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
The leukemia & Lymphoma Society is proud that nearly 76% of its total expenditures go directly to fund its mission, making us one of the top rated voluntary health agencies.
